New Outlook Schedule page, and a navigation change

Two updates worth knowing about: a new tool for tracking forecast issuances, and a small change to the site nav.

Outlook Update Schedule

We've added a new Outlook Update Schedule page to help you know exactly when the latest forecast data is available. The page shows live countdowns to the next update for every major outlook product:

SPC Day 1 Convective Outlook5× daily
SPC Day 2 Convective Outlook2× daily
SPC Day 3 Convective Outlook1× daily
WPC Excessive Rainfall Outlook (Days 1–3)
WPC Hazards Outlook (Days 3–7)
NHC Tropical AdvisoriesEvery 6 hours

Each card shows the countdown to the next issuance, the full daily schedule, and all times in both UTC and your local timezone. The upcoming slot is highlighted in green so you know exactly what's next at a glance.

You can reach it anytime from the 🕐 Outlooks button in the bottom-right of the dashboard, or visit it directly at /outlooks.

Feedback is out, Blog is in

The Feedback button in the navigation has been replaced by a Blog button — the very place you're reading this now. The blog will serve as the home for site announcements, update notes, and anything else worth sharing as NWSAlerts continues to grow.

Heads up

The old feedback.nwsalerts.net subdomain no longer exists. Visiting it will return a 404 page. Any bookmarks pointing there can be safely removed.

Thanks for using NWSAlerts — more updates to come.
